Our Early Years Learning
At Vale Park Preschool, we believe families are integral to their child’s learning journey. Strong relationships between educators, children, and families are essential to supporting each child’s growth and development. We work collaboratively to celebrate progress and nurture each child’s unique strengths.
Our early years curriculum is based on a play-based approach within a nurturing environment, where exploration, discovery and learning through play are embedded in our daily experiences. Children are encouraged to investigate, ask questions, and make sense of the world around them—including enjoying rich experiences in our wonderful nature garden and gathering together for special campfire experiences.
Our program fosters the development of children’s literacy and numeracy skills, as well as key learning dispositions such as curiosity, confidence, cooperation, resilience, and problem-solving. Through these experiences, children develop a strong foundation for ongoing learning and successful transition to school.
